Wwe why is evan bourne suspended
Unfortunately, a drug test failure would force Jeff to lose the Intercontinental Championship in ahead of his suspension. The return would see Hardy getting another chance and hitting a home run in the role. Jeff reached the top of the mountain, winning the WWE Championship for the first time.
Dupree was in a successful tag team wrestler pairing with Sylvan Grenier in the La Resistance tag team. The eventual split would see him struggling to keep up. Dupree was eventually placed on the ECW brand where WWE gave wrestlers that they believed in a second chance to get over again.
Randy Orton received three different suspensions in his WWE career, all lasting at least a month for various negative actions. WWE would also suspend Orton twice for his violation of the wellness policy when failing drug tests. WWE continued to give chances to Orton, until he cleaned up his act to hold down a top spot. Both wrestlers showed stellar chemistry after struggling to find a role.
The use of an artificial form of marijuana led to Bourne getting suspended and Air Boom dropping the tag titles to Primo and Epico. Bourne would have a second suspension issued when the same drug was found in his system in the next test. An injury occurred during the suspension and Bourne never wrestled again in WWE. WWE wanted to send a message by suspending Michaels for failing a drug test when trying to clean up their image after the steroid trials.
WWE kept Michaels in a relevant spot when he returned, claiming he was the real title holder since he never lost it. What was particularly surprising was that Bourne and his partner Kofi Kingston competed on Raw and successfully defended their Tag Titles against Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett, instead of dropping them.
Though I guess it wouldn't made much sense for Rhodes and Barrett to win the titles at this stage. With such a week division, it's not obvious what direction they will go in with this. As soon as they lost their titles at the house show it looked set in stone.
Then on Raw last night they were made to job in the rematch to Epico and Primo in a two minute match that looked like a glorified squash. Bourne has failed another Wellness policy test and has been suspended for 60 days, per the WWE Corporate website :. There were rumblings that something was going to happen today regarding Bourne's future with WWE, be it his outright release or something that would get him off TV for a while.
It should be most interesting to see the reaction to all this from Bourne, Kingston and everyone else involved here.
Especially if we find out he was smoking Spice again with another wrestler higher on the card and that wrestler doesn't get suspended for another three weeks.
So much for rebuilding the tag team division, huh?
